Textures
Natural stone offers far more than color and veining: its surface can be shaped, carved and refined to express completely different personalities. Through advanced technologies and expert craftsmanship, materials such as marble, granite and onyx can be transformed with a wide range of finishes and textures—each capable of enhancing depth, tactile perception and visual character.
From subtle, softly brushed effects to bold three-dimensional surfaces inspired by natural rock or wood, every finish changes the way light interacts with the stone and how it feels to the touch. These treatments not only enrich the aesthetic language of the material but also expand its design possibilities, making each slab unique and perfectly suited to specific architectural or interior design needs.
Our specialized techniques allow us to work with precision while preserving the intrinsic beauty of the stone, revealing new expressions of texture, movement and materiality. This is where technical expertise meets creativity: surfaces evolve, and stone becomes a true design element.
Rockfinish
A texture that reproduces the look of natural rock. The surface is first deeply bush-hammered, then treated with sand and water to create irregular, three-dimensional movement. A final brushing step can soften the effect while keeping the materiality.
The result is very tactile, rugged, and strongly natural.
Bark
A “raw and wild” finish. The stone is carved by a high-pressure mix of sand and water that sculpts the surface in depth.
It produces a rustic, highly textured, natural look with strong relief.
Tranché
Inspired by wood grain. Diamond discs cut the surface following linear, intersecting motions; the slab is then brushed to enhance depth.
It creates an elegant texture reminiscent of saw-cut wood, but on stone.
Wood
A special finish designed to imitate the appearance of wood on marble or other stones. It typically combines diamond incisions with brushing to reproduce wood-like veins.
The result is warm, organic, and highly material.
Juta
“Juta” usually refers to a textile-inspired pattern: a regular, dense weave-like surface created by controlled abrasion or incision.
It gives the stone a fabric-like, structured appearance.
Crust
A very aggressive treatment performed with high-power waterjet, which penetrates between the mineral discontinuities of the slab.
Particularly effective on structured granites, it yields a bold, raw, sharply textured surface.
Sand
The sandblasted finish is achieved by directing a controlled jet of sand and air onto the stone surface, lightly removing the outer layer to create a uniform, matte texture. The result is a slip-resistant, gently textured finish that maintains the authenticity of marble, granite, or onyx while offering a more contemporary, understated look. Ideal for both interior and exterior applications, sandblasting combines visual elegance with practical durability.
Ribbed
The ribbed finish is created by carving the stone with parallel linear cuts, producing a rhythmic, structured surface. This texture enhances depth, reduces glare, and gives the material a contemporary architectural character, while preserving its natural elegance. The ribbed finish could be combine with other tratments.
